Born in 1953, I started my career as an interpreder and translator in the mid-1970s after graduation from the English Department of Beijing University and two years of advanced English studies in Canada. Over the past quarter of a century, I have acted as an interpreter for a number of senior Chinese state officials indluding President Jiang Zemin, Premier Zhu Rongji, Chairman of the National People's Congress Li Peng, etc., worked as a simultaneous interpreter for such United Nations agencies as FAO,UNESCO, ILO, UNDP, UNEP, ITU and UPU and translated several English books and countless articles running to over 3 million Chinese Characters and covering wide ranging subjects including politics, economy, law, environment, science and technology,especially telecommunications and computer. My translation works have been well received by my clients from different Chinese institutions and such world-renowned companies as IBM, Lucent Technologies, Hill & Knowlton, Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, etc..

Now, the price. The average cost of my translation is 0.10 USD per Chinese character and additional charges may be required for extremely urgent and technical cases.
